Ivanpah Solar Electric Generating Station
OVERVIEWIvanpah Solar Electric Generating Station (ISEGS) is a 377 MW solar thermal power plant, constructed on 3,500 acres of BLM land. At the time of construction, it was the largest such power plant in the world.
Wilder personnel were sub-contracted in the roles of USFWS Authorized Biologist and biological monitors to fulfill mitigation and monitoring requirements during the site clearance surveys, desert tortoise translocation effort, and subsequent construction of the facilities.
